Part Time Baker

Top Duties + Qualifications

Ready to put your pastry and culinary studies to work in an epic location at one of the Oregon coast’s most beloved spots? We’re looking for a baker to join our team on a part basis. Duties + Responsibilities

You’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by:

▪  Operating commercial baking equipment 

• Baking off pastries in the morning 

• Assembling, frosting and decorating cakes for shop and custom orders 

• Mixing buttercreams 

• Scaling recipes 

• Mixing cake, cookie, brownie, scone, etc. batters 

• Mixing and rolling doughs 

• Preparing and finishing pastries 

• Keeping back of house clean and tidy at all times

Skills + Qualifications

You’ll need a strong set of skills that ensure teamwork and organization in the kitchen:

• At least one year of baking experience preferred

• General knowledge of bakery ingredients and their functions

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Bakery administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn

• Friendly and professional approach with coworkers and customers

• Strong organization and active listening skills

• Desire to be creative and enthusiasm for baking

• Some experience with viennoiserie and laminating would be very helpful

• Must have an open availability schedule and reliable transportation

• Food handlers card required and may be obtained once hired

Full Time Line Cook

We offer competitive pay ($16+/hour d.o.e.) plus tips, generous employee discount and shift meals. For full-time team members (30+ hours per week) we offer medical, dental and vision benefits along with a sign-on bonus.

Duties + Responsibilities

You’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by:

• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks 

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Skills + Qualifications

You’ll need a strong set of skills that ensure teamwork and organization in the kitchen:

• At least one year of cooking experience preferred

• Deli, Bakery and/or Pizza experience a plus

• Kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn

Store Associate

Duties + Responsibilities

You’ll help create positive impressions and customer experiences by:

• Processing retail and café sales transactions and accepting payments

• Serving coffee and espresso beverages

• Answering customer questions about products or services

• Assisting customers on the sales floor

• Setting up and/or stocking item displays

Skills + Qualifications

You’ll need a strong set of skills that ensure teamwork and organization in the store:

• Ability to process sales and change quickly

• Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts and counting inventory
